My practice includes conducting individual, couple, and family therapy for clients experiencing a wide range of psychological and relationship difficulties. I have been in clinical practice for the last 40 years. I specialize in couple therapy where I help couples improve their intimacy and conflict management capabilities. In my work with couples, I also have expertise in the areas of infidelity, substance abuse, and sexual compulsivity. Moreover, as a Washington State and American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT) Approved Supervisor, I provide supervision to other clinicians as well as supervision of their supervision.
In addition to my private practice, I also serve on the Core faculty of Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) Program at Antioch University Seattle. In this capacity, I serve as an adviser to CFT graduate students as well as teach graduate courses in research, case consultation, couple therapy, and family-of-origin therapy. As an academic, I am active in the field, conducting research, and attending conferences. On a more personal note I am married, have a grown son, and enjoy Northwest outdoor activities such as backpacking and kayaking.
